网络研讨会:: Pure Al Grain Refinement via Oxides and Ultrasonic Treatment

As sustainability becomes increasingly critical in metal production, this webinar explores emerging approaches to rethinking the role of oxides—traditionally viewed as defects—in influencing material performance. Using pure aluminum as a model system, the research investigates how multifrequency ultrasonic treatment (UST) can fragment and disperse oxides throughout the melt. These dispersed oxides are being studied for their potential to act as nucleation sites, with possible implications for grain refinement and mechanical properties.

This webinar will provide insight into ultrasonic processing techniques and highlight ongoing efforts to better understand their role in supporting more sustainable and efficient aluminum recycling and manufacturing practices.
